I haven't had much time for blogging lately. Between the busyness of Thanksgiving/Christmas and the non-stop puppy care, I am having a difficult time getting anything "extra" done. As a matter of fact, I am not getting all the necessary things done!

Despite the fact that Oreo takes up a lot of my time, she is doing very well. She only gets up once during the night and she sleeps wonderfully. That's way better than my kids did! On the flip side, both my kids were potty-trained in one day. Oreo isn't as easy to train, and I can't put diapers on her! Also, she likes to chew and find things she shouldn't have in her mouth. She is definitely keeping me on my toes!

I feel badly that I am not keeping up with everything, but I realize it happens to everyone. Even our Elf on the Shelf has neglected his duties. After showing up on December 1, he failed to come back on December 2 in a new location (we find him in a new spot each morning). I guess he was just really tired after travelling from the North Pole. My Best Girl was very disappointed that Kris Twinkle-Sparkle hadn't moved, so I had a talk with him. I don't think he'll drop the ball again. I guess even Santa's elves have trouble getting their acts together at times!
