I Read It
In last month's I Read It carnival, Carrie shared a post about Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. After her review, I knew I had to read it.

I am home with a sick little girl (she's sick enough to be home from preschool, but not sick enough to stay out of trouble), so I will simply point you to Carrie's review and say that this is a beautiful story, and I highly recommend it. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is about love, family, honor, prejudice, and fear, and I enjoyed every page.

Thanks, Carrie for your recommendation (which you read based on someone else's recommendation—I love that!). I am so glad I Read It!

This one is in my TBR pile, but keeps getting pushed to the bottom. I need to put it on top! It sounds great!

LOL about not sick enough to get into trouble. Hope she gets better soon.

Glad that you could still link up, and I'm glad that you enjoyed Carrie's recommendation!

I've been eyeing this one, especially after Carrie's review. I'll have to bump this one up on the list after reading another glowing recommendation!

After I read Carrie's review, I quickly found out my library has it & put it on my Shelfari list. I can't wait to get to it.

That's so funny...I was just in Target today with some rare alone time waiting on a prescription and saw this book in the book section. Now it goes on my tbr list for sure. Hope your little one feels better soon. :)

I saw that review too, and immediately went to my library's website to make sure they had this one available. They do, and I've added it to my admittedly long list of books to get one day at the library. I read the back at a bookstore and it does look really good.

Hope your best girl is feeling a lot better :) Happy Reading!
