Sledding Fun
We ended up with about six inches of snow, but there is a thick layer of ice on top. That mixture doesn't work well if you want to make a snowman (or drive), but it sure works well for a slippery ride on a sled! We have a sloped yard, so the kids and their friends have been enjoying themselves today. (By the way, that's not Dad on the sled; it's our super nice neighbor who was playing with the kids. Dad was trying, unsuccessfully, to get the ice off our driveway.)

They look like they really are enjoying that snow.. My kids still get excited when it snows and we live in OHIO.. so as you know they see alot of it.. though at the moment we only have less then a 1/2 inch it's just really cold.
How fun!
I was just thinking of your poor blog today. Sorry to see that the old one isn't up.
Btw, I use Firefox, and your text and pictures are all grayed out -- light.
I can read it, but it looks almost like I've highlighted it to cut and paste, if that makes sense.
Wow, lots of snow and icky ice! It only rained down here, boo-hoo :) Glad you guys had so much fun, great pictures!
