There are some things you don't really expect to say. As a parent, you learn to go with the flow, but you are sometimes surprised by what your children say or what you say to your children.

Here are a couple of things I never expected to say...

"Please don't let your wings scratch against the wall." (Spoken to Tinkerbell as she floated around the house.)

"Be still so I can get the sequin out of your nose."

Here are some things I never expected to hear...

"Mom, what was I like when I was your age?"

"When are we ever going to get a whale?"

I am sure you have had similar experiences at your house. One thing is for sure; children are never boring!
